Parish Banners To provide a visual symbol of our "oneness" as Catholics, each parish in the Diocese of Bismarck, has obtained a parish Centennial banner identical to one another in design and size. In recognition of our uniqueness and individuality, each banner displays the parish name and date of its formation as a parish. The Centennial banners will be placed on display in the Civic Center throughout the signature celebration.
For almost 100 years the Diocese of Bismarck has sought to live the life of Christ. Through our parish and religious communities, schools and other institutions we have boldly proclaimed the good news of our salvation in the One who is "the Way, the Truth and the Life." We have continued the mission entrusted to us to build the Kingdom of God n western North Dakota. As a diocese we strive to lead lives that follow the diocesan mission statement: "To be ambassadors of Christ, who live stewardship in Word, Sacrament and Service."
As we prepare to celebrate our centennial as a diocese, may we continue to be faithful to our mission to build the Kingdom of God in western North Dakota.
