Communications The office of communications serves as the official news and public information liaison between the Diocese of Bismarck, the bishop and the public news media. The director serves as the press secretary for the bishop and is responsible for periodic news conferences and news releases pertaining to diocesan events and reaction to diocesan-related events. Newspaper articles, electronic news coverage of events, feature stories and interviews all contribute to providing the Catholic tradition and perspective to political, social and religious happenings in Western North Dakota. This office also coordinates the weekly telecast of The Sunday Mass on the Fox television network in western North Dakota and is in charge of maintaining the diocesan website www.bismarckdiocese.com.
