A total of 17 diocesan offices exist to meet the spiritual and parish administrative needs of a Roman Catholic population in excess of 64,000 in the western half of North Dakota; a region covering more than 34,000 square miles.

The ministries and their services are provided to meet the spiritual needs of the lay and religious faithful as well as the practical operational and administrative needs of both the 100 parishes and missions and the diocese.
